Neuroscience Research Models and Biosafety

Sustainable innovation

Our neuroscience research facilities include state-of-the-art high-containment labs and flexible research spaces equipped with the latest technologies.

Some of our studies are conducted using computer models and cell cultures to simulate neural processes or conduct genetic research. We also work with test subjects on numerous topics.

In exceptional cases, we do work with animals. In these cases, their care is always overseen by a team of experienced veterinarians, animal welfare officers, and trained personnel.

Even in these exceptional cases, animal welfare is treated with the utmost care, alongside scientific quality. For example, cells are maintained in environments that precisely simulate the conditions in which they would function within the body. When animals are involved, such as in specialized behavioral studies with mice or zebrafish, we ensure that their housing is species-appropriate and stress-free.
