The Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics offers a variety of jobs, such as PostDoc and Ph.D. positions, diploma and students positions, research assistants and also positions as participants for experiments.
The institute encourage speculative applications from students, graduate students, and postdocs interested in particular areas of research performed in the institute. These applicants should contact the respective director/group leader directly.
There are several talks and events taking place on the Max Planck Campus, for scientists and students as well as for general audiences. Not only our own scientists, but also well-known guests from all over the world are presenting up-to-date research from different fields of the life sciences, e.g. neurobiology, cognitive sciences, cell biology, genetics and bioinformatics.
The Graduate School of Neural & Behavioural Sciences initiated jointly by the University of Tübingen and the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, brings together areas, which are traditionally covered by biomedical research and by computer sciences.
