Directions to the Institute

The nearest airport is Stuttgart. From there, you can take the Airport Sprinter (bus line 828), which will take you to the central bus station in Tübingen in just under an hour. From there, you can take bus line 3 which will take you directly to the "Max Planck Institute" stop. The navigation bar to the left directs you to a travel planner of the local public transportation service. 

Thanks to a navigation system or smartphone, it has become very easy to find us by car. The traffic routes are very well established.

Together with the Technology Park, the Max Planck Institutes are located in a traffic-calmed zone with numerous parking options. For planning with your navigation system or smartphone, our addresses and geographic coordinates you find below. 

Please note the need for a parking permit with your license plate number, which you will receive after registering with us and must visibly place in the vehicle.
