I am a student of biological sciences at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen and I currently do my Master Thesis in the Cognitive Engineering group, under supervision of Cristóbal Curio at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics. This is a great opportunity for me to broaden my mind, since I have always been interested in computers and biological systems. In my thesis I particularly focus on the implementation and validation of an Active-Appearance-Model for the automatic and semantic analysis of facial expressions from video-streams. As a research assistant (HiWi) I have been working on Scan-Data recording, post-processing and facial expression experiments.
