Panagiotis Tsiatsis
Main Focus
After my studies in Computer Engineering and Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Computational Neuroscience in the Universities of Patras, Greece and Edinburgh, Scotland, I have settled as a PhD student in the Cognitive Neuroimaging Lab at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tuebingen, working under the supervision of Dr. Uta Noppeney. The focus of my studies lies on Multisensory Integration and I am primarily using Magnetoengephalography (MEG) to address several scientific questions of interest.
Finally, friends call me Taki.

Non Academic Interests / Activities
Mainly I like to make some music when time permits. Since I am self-taught there is probably nothing special here, but if you are still interested you can find more in . In the past [deep breath], I used to play the guitar in the almost famous band Yellow Pages and run a blues / rock radio programme called Rock The Night in a major radio station in Greece along with my friend Bill Lampos. Together, we also organized in 2006 a multifaceted artistic festival in the University of Patras, Greece, under the name Artware Festival that, since then, has become a major annual artistic event in Patras. Since then I believe that you can bring the best out of people by providing them the freedom to be creative. Other than that, I like reading simple stories, watching cartoons, looking for chords on the floor, staring at ants passing by and collecting tickets. Finally, I will be eternally grateful to Martin, Rory and Jerome for showing me that most of the times what is important does not necessarily have to be complicated.
