Anagha Deshmane

Alumni of the Department High-Field Magnetic Resonance

Main Focus

My research focuses on extraction of the sub-voxel, microstructural and molecular tissue information embedded in the signals acquired by novel MRI sequences, including magnetic resonance fingerprinting and chemical exchange saturation transfer imaging, at both clinical (3T) and ultra-high (9.4T) field strengths. The tools I developed provide novel image contrasts with quantitative insight into the subtle changes involved in normal physiological and diseased processes in brain tissues.
