Main Focus

Neuromodulatory systems set the stage for all the key neural computations. A demonstration of their crucial role is represented by clinical conditions which are associated with neuromodulator dysfunctions as in Parkinson and depression.  Therefore, it is essential to explore their contribution to information encoding and processing in cognitive processes. My research focuses on unraveling the roles of neurochemical signals in adaptive decision-making by examining the linked behavioral and neural data.
