Main Focus

I am currently working in the RECCAT group in Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics as a post-doc researcher under the supervision of .

Recently, advances in neuroimaging using pattern classification, a multivariate statistical technique used to discriminate classes of stimuli by assessing differences in the elicited spatial patterns of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) signals, have made it possible to probe the sensory-perceptual processing from a different perspective. Using these methods, I am investigating how emotional and tactile stimuli are represented in the human brain.
My research interests are listed as follows,

  • Abstract Representations of Associated Emotions
  • Hierarchical Human Somatosensory System
  • Neural Correlates of Perceived Roughness
  • Neural Grouping Patterns of Vibrotactile Frequencies
  • Supramodal Representations of Tactile Perception
