Paolina Teneva

Alumni of the Department Human Perception, Cognition and Action

Main Focus

I work as a research assistant in the group "Perception and Action in Virtual Environments". I have worked at MPI since October 2008. My main responsibilities have been the development of Virtual Environments for different psycho physics experiments (mainly done in Virtools, City Engine and 3DSMax), the running of psycho-physics experiments and the web page support of the groups's web page.

My background in in Computational Linguistics. I have just submitted my Master thesis, titled 'Authorship Attribution based on Suffix Arrays for Phrase Extraction'. In the Computational Linguistics field I am mostly interested in Word Sense Disambiguation, Authorship Attributtion, Text Mining and Sentiment detection but generally any Computational Linguistics task interests me.
