Main Focus

I am a PhD student in computational neuroscience. My research interest is on how collective behaviors in neural networks arise from local interactions between the neurons. For this purpose, I am studying neural dynamics on different scales and modalities (from single spikes to fMRI) using computational models and neural data analysis. I am also interested in the effect of behavioral conditions like attention on the brain collective dynamical state. I am working under the supervision of Prof. Anna Levina (University of Tübingen). Other members of my PhD advisory board are Prof. Nikos Logothetis (MPI for Biological Cybernetics) and Prof. Tatiana Engel (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York).
