Funding

24 months of the study phase (semesters 1-4) will be covered by monthly IMPRS stipends (NB and NIP master´s program) and stipends offered by the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research (CM master´s program).

During the research phase, doctoral students will be funded by the lab at which they are conducting their research. Additional funding is available to support IMPRS doctoral students in their career:

• Bridging Funds – to ease the transition from the master´s phase into the doctoral program.
• Travel Funds – for conferences, professional development and off-campus research
• Wrap-up Grants – to finalize research work and publications and to move towards a postdoctoral position.
