Main Tasks: Synthesis, purification and characterization of organometallic complexes as contrast agents for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Organic synthesis (macrocyclic and multimeric ligands synthesis, nitro-group reductions, boronic acids functionalization, supramolecular interactions with HSA and ?-cyclodextrins), purification and physical-chemical characterization of the obtained compounds for biomedical applications. Large use of mono- and bidimensional Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), 1H relaxometry, HPLC and mass spectrometry as characterization techniques. Writing reports and articles drafts to submit for publication.
PhD thesis: High-relaxivity systems and molecular imaging probes for Magnetic Resonance Imaging applications.
