Curriculum Vitae

I joined the ROLI Lab at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany, in the summer of 2025 to pursue my PhD.

My previous research focused on human brain gliomas and nonlinear optical microscopy. This work included the development of third-harmonic-generation imaging systems, investigation of signal origins, design of data analysis algorithms, and close collaboration with pathologists for disease diagnosis. I developed a “instant pathology” approach that integrates label-free imaging, compact and portable devices, and computational methods for rapid denoising, segmentation, and classification, with the goal of enabling real-time diagnosis of brain tumors.

During my PhD, I hope to develop better tools to address more compelling scientific questions. My current research interests lie in building faster and more powerful microscopy systems, as well as advancing computational methods, with the long-term goal of applying these approaches to fundamental problems in neuroscience.
