Main Focus

I am interested in how the brain gives rise to cognition and how this is carried out at multiple levels of analysis. I have worked with electron microscopy data, MEG, and fMRI data to study the brain from many different angles.

In my PhD in the lab of Romy Lorenz, I will focus on advancing our understanding of the frontoparietal network from a task-based lens, specifically studying cognitive control and working memory. Through my co-supervision with Peter Dayan, I hope to develop computational models of frontoparietal network function.
