Scientific Divisions
The research activities at our institute are rather broad and interdisciplinary. Therefore, our scientific fields can hardly be assigned to one single area. The main focus is on neuroscience, but also physics and medicine as well as mathematics and computer science. We undertake numerous projects with our neighbouring institutes, in particular with the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, with the University of Tübingen and many other research institutions in Germany and abroad.
