Work Safety

Your supervisor is responsible for your workplace safety. Before you start working at the institute, you must complete a general workplace safety training. At a later stage, you will be required to complete an online training course and pass a test.

After you have provided all required information to the Human Resources department, you will receive an email with a link to the SAP webpage, where you can complete the online safety training and take the test.

Note: You will get at least two emails:

The first is the login for the employee account and is sent from the email address: ee-noreply@mpg.de.

The second will be the request for the safety and is sent from the email address: MPG.Arbeitssicherheit@gv.mpg.de.

If the safety training is ignored or not completed successfully, your access to the institute will be revoked.

The occupational safety expert, Michael Kerger, supports the compliance with workplace safety regulations, assessing risks in hazardous environments, and advises on legal requirements. You as an employee may receive additional and specific safety training.
