Position: Research Technician  Unit: Bülthoff

In the Cyberneum psychophysical experiments are performed using a state of the art motion simulator.  As a member of the “Cybernetics Approach to Perception and Action” group my scope is to develop control algorithms for the MPS CyberMotion Simulator and to integrate control and measurement devices into the hard- and software framework depending on the scientific question.

Areas of Interest: control theory, perception of vestibular and visual cues and how a better understanding of the underlying processes may be used to improve simulation technology.

Since 2004

Working as a Research Technician at the Max PIanck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in the “Human Perception, Cognition and Action” department
