However, during periods of constant velocity, no inertial information is available, thus, how perceived displacement is evaluated during different durations of constant velocity is unknown. Here, participants judged which of two inertially experienced distances was longer. Three durations of constant velocity (1, 3, 5s) were included in order to evaluate whether estimates of distance would vary as a function of constant velocity duration.
