Research Group: Recognition and Categorisation
Past experience at the MPI: [July-Sep 2013] Internship; assisting PhD students with their projects in the RECCAT group. Primarily - facial perception in prosopragnosics with Janina Esins, and investigating facial motion and its interaction with facial form in the processing of identity with Katharina Dobs.
More recently, I have completed a 10-week laboratory rotation, as part of the MSc program in Neural and Behavioural Sciences at the Graduate Training School of Neuroscience, University of Tübingen, at the Space and Body Perception Group with Dr. Betty Mohler and Dr. Michael Geuss as my supervisors. Projects I've worked on include 'Influence of mirrors on body size estimation', 'Performance changes due to the appearance of self avatar' and 'Attractiveness in form and motion'.
For my second laboratory rotation, I returned to the RECCAT group to take on an on-going project related to degrees of familiarity and its interaction with face recognition.
Currently: My masters thesis concerns the other-race effect and the encoding of faces in working memory.
