Position: PhD Student  Unit: Alumni Bülthoff

I am a PhD student in Electrical and Information Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro Rizzo, Politecnico di Bari, Italy. Since 2011, I am with the Institute of Intelligent Systems for Automation (ISSIA) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), Italy, as Research Assistant.

Since October 2013, I am working, as a visiting student, with Autonomous Robotics and Human-Machine Systems group under the supervision of Dr. Antonio Franchi. My project involves the distributed estimation of inertial parameters by a robotic network for control purposes.

My scientific interests are focused on consensus theory and application, distributed estimation, modelling and control of robotic networks.

Antonio Petitti received the BS and MS (Laurea Specialistica) degrees (summa cum laude) in Automation Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, Italy, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Since 2011, he is Research Assistant at the Institute of Intelligent Systems for Automation (ISSIA) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), Italy. He is also PhD candidate in Electrical and Information Engineering at Politecnico di Bari, Italy, and candidate in the joint PhD program of high qualification "Scuola Interpolitecnica di Dottorato" in Information and Communication Technology.
