  My overall research interest is:

Information in the Brain - Representation, Computation and System Formation

Right now I am studying sensory integration (sensor fusion), mostly concerning self-movement perception, by performing psychophysical experiments on a motion platform with a projection screen. I also try to develop models for sensory integration in the brain, taking evidence from neuroanatomy and neurophysiology into account.

In one project I worked with Lego Mindstorms robots. You can find a tutorial page on advanced Lego Mindstorms programming (remote-controlling the robot) in Visual C++ here. There is also an interface for the Lego Mindstorms NXT kit, which can be found here.

The web page on Spectral Texturing, a real-time texture generation method I presented on Siggraph 2003, can be found here. This page also describes the Shepard Zoom shown at the VSS Demo Night 2004.
