Ten years of research with Werner across levels of understanding

I will briefly review some of the work done in collaboration with Werner Reichardt during my 10 years at MPG in Tübingen, reflecting an approach organized across different levels of understanding a
complex system from the behavioural level, to the level of algorithms and to the neural circuits.
